Lisa is a photographer and art teacher in New York City.  For the past 14 years, she has taught visual art and photography to adolescents, teenagers and young adults in Villanova, PA and the Bronx, NY.  In her classroom and in her own work, she sees art as a tool to better understand ourselves, build empathy for others and deepen our connections, disrupt injustice, and heal.  She loves creating art with her students, watching their processes unfold, and seeing students proud of their final work. She still can't believe she gets to make art with young people all day as her job. (#lifehack).
